The Argentinian Superhacker

When most people think of hackers, they picture the supergroup Anonymous or subdivisions like LuLzSec. Most of these hackers are able to stay hidden on the internet…except this one. This 19 year-old “superhacker” ran a group of hackers in an online fraud scheme from his bedroom, in which he targeted gambling websites and banks with bot computers so he may transfer money so he wouldn’t get caught. From the looks of things, his plan did not go as well.
During his time as a hacker he managed to make on average $50,000 a month from this scheme. The operation to take him down took a year of closing in on the hacker. The operation involved five raids and turning the power off to prevent data deletion. Police at the scene found multiple high-capacity computers, as well as the hacker. If charged, he could face up to 10 years in prison
